Red Flax B&B has tranquil rural and sea views and is situated enroute to Larnach Castle, at the entrance to the Otago Peninsula.  
The Peninsula is famous for its scenic walks, with stunning beach and hill views; and also for the Wildlife Reserves for the Royal Albatross and the Yellow Eyed Penguin.

The historic central city area of Dunedin is only 8 minutes drive away and we are close to a regular bus route.  Dunedin has a splendid choice of restaurants and bars and a casino.

Red Flax B&B is situated in a private area of a modern, sunny home and has its own separate courtyard entrance.  We take only  ”one party”  bookings which ensures that  you will have exclusive use of the facilities.  There are two bedrooms, (one King bed and one Queen bed), a private bathroom and a cosy lounge with tea and coffee making facilities, a refrigerator, TV, and a dining table.

There is attention to detail throughout … cookies and chocolates in the lounge, bathrobes and toiletries in the bathroom, and a memorable continental or full cooked breakfast.

We have two small, well behaved dogs in residence … Opal and Gem.

Your hosts, Robert and Kate are keen gardeners and are enjoying developing the 1½ acres of ground around the home, into a garden to be admired and enjoyed.

We offer caring hospitality, and also laundry and internet facilities if required

Follow the signs to the B & B, there is plenty of off street parking
