Your hosts, Robert and Kate are keen gardeners and are enjoying developing the 1½ acres of ground around the home, into a garden to be admired and enjoyed. They are developing a plant nursery, with plants for sale. This has evolved as a result of the need to propagate plants for their own use.
Robert lived for many years in Australia, as a younger man. He was born and brought up in the New Zealand south island, and enjoys being back. Kate is also a 'Kiwi' and has always lived in the South Island. Kate has traveled in the UK, and seen a little of Europe. Together Robert and Kate have recently traveled to Canada and the USA and Australia.
Next year (2010) Robert and Kate are getting married at Larnach Castle - one of the "places to visit" when you come to Dunedin! We both have Grandchildren and enjoy our special times with them.
We have two small, well behaved dogs in residence … Opal and Gem..
